FUZE

Too Cold to Eat

I was a bit reluctant to check the outside temperature when I entered the kitchen this morning. To my surprise, it was 8 degrees. That's a PLUS 8 DEGREES!  That was good news (can you believe I'm saying that?!).  So after a Jay Robb Chocolate Shake I got to it and did a little variety aerobics. 10 minutes of each:  Treadmill Run. Elliptical. Rowing. Bicycle. 35 minutes of back and triceps, increasing the weight after each set. I used the cable machine for Back and dumbells for Triceps.  4 sets, 15 reps each. Lat pulldowns (wide grip) + Overhead Tri Extensions [...]

Sprained Thumb

Have you ever sprained your thumb opening the top on your shampoo?  It hurts and doesn't really want to move.  Should I write to the manufacturer of the shampoo suggesting that they might want to find a different container company?  Hmmmm... depends how much worse my thumb gets. The start of a festive Thursday.  VPX protein got me through 45 minutes on the ET and 30 minutes of a shoulder and ab workout.  I went walking with Shane for about 38 minutes.  We saw a lot of deer racing around this morning. Two were leaping from the MVCC parking lot [...]

Curtsy To Work Your Legs

Helpful hints for selling at a Green Market If anyone can offer any tips/hints/suggestions... or need to knows for selling food products at a Green Market in FL, please be so kind and let us know. Tuesday's post New Nicholas page all:  Look under Nicholas Page, then Nicholas on Monday. Began the day dragging myself downstairs. I had a VPX shake, choking it down. I wasn't in the mood at all.  Running was out of the question today so I did 35 minutes on the ET while watching "How To Boil Water".  I then switched to a dreaded leg workout, [...]

New look to wordpress

Wow! What a surprise.  I opened up to do this post and the whole look of the page is different.  Hey Guys! I REALLY like it! This morning, yes, I did get up and work the missed chest work out from earlier in week.  But instead of doing any  warm up aerobics, I went right to weights for 40 minutes. I have to say it was only actually 30 minutes because I was foolin' around, looking at books, la-de-da-ing it. Shane and I had a great jog/walk though. We jogged about 2.5 miles and walked 2.25 miles.  Now for the review [...]

To Work in a Jiffy

We watched a good moving last night: Ironman.  It was a heap better than The Hulk. Stef told us that Ironman was a lot better and we took her up on her recommendation. Thanks Stef! Got a call from Sam this morning, Sue is sick in bed with what sounds like the flu. Wayne tells me he has much of the same thing. GREAT! I'm armed with Clorox wipes and Lysol.... wish me luck. This morning I didn't run. My legs were kind of heavy and my heart wasn't into it so I did 40 minutes on the ET.  40 minutes [...]

Hussle Around

Busy day today. I have to get the jeep to the dealership by 7:30 in order for them to get me out of there within an hour.  But I did have time to do 30 min. running (3.5 miles) on the T/Mill. 25 min. shoulder workout. 34 minute walk with Shane.  The morning eats:  1 VPX pre workout shake.   I had to decide on something quick and satisfying before leaving today, so I opted for 2 Kashi Waffles topped with 1/2 TBS on each, Vanilla Peanut Butter.  For my breakfast protein, I had a VPX shake with 2 oz blueberries [...]
