Team Ayoub participated in this years YMCA Sprint Triathlon as a relay team.

It was another rainy, cool event day which ended in success and good team spirit.
Karen (Dave’s wife), Teddy (Ted’s son), Joanne (Ted’s wife…ME!), and Zoey were the support crowd, getting wet, getting cold but cheering everyone on from transition to finish.
The swimmer played Aqua Man for 17 minutes
The cyclist avoided slippery condition accidents by completing the bike course in about 42 minutes
The runner hit the 5K trail for a 26 minute run. The “Ben-Gay”, the 5 minute warm up, it all helped to get him to the finish line after only 2 weeks of training.
Some of us got wet and tired and sought refuge in warmer places
The team crossed the line in 1:33:02. Not bad for newbies.
We only hope the next event will be in warm, sunny weather so gloves and hot chocolate can be left at home!

Great finish time — so good to hear the relay went smoothly and everyone had fun, even tho it was a bit cool and wet. Zoey is absolutely adorable ~
