The Bread The Cookies

How does artisan baked bread differ from commercial baked bread?  That was the question in the winter newsletter from New York Small Scale Food Processors Association.  “The difference is in the process and attention to detail rather than in the scale of the operation.  Quality ingredients is the first step to creating artisanal bread. A Perfect Getaway

The morning run wrap up:  7.3 miles at a 9.5 pace.  We made  a few stops (inevitable with a dog as your running partner).  It was a great run.  Ted got up to use the BR at 5AM which woke me up.  I got up and went back to bed only to get up 15 minutes later.  The result was an early run. Restaurants and Road Warriors

First, I have to share my excitement with everyone.  Look what came in the mail yesterday… “Clean Food” by Terry Walters.   I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to review this book.  It offers information to empower you to make changes in regards to how you shop and prepare food.  The result being a big difference in the way you eat and feel.  The book teaches the reader about whole grains, vegetables, legumes, soy, nuts, seeds. sea vegetables, and fruit.  I’m really looking forward to getting into some good reading.  Recipe examples:  “Super Strengthening Stew”, “Grilled Polenta with Mushroom [...]
