I’ve been so proud of myself lately and not just because a brilliant brain storm turned into a totally awesome treat (see below) but because that sleek and pretty road bike sitting in the garage has finally seen the light of day. Turning Stone 5K Run

It was the first race held at The Turning Stone Casino Resort in Vernon, New York.  The run was a 5K.  It wasn’t the usual fast and furious 5K crowd I’m used to seeing at local races.  In fact, when we were lining up at the starting line, no one seemed to want to be in front.  It was kind of amusing.  But – lets back track… The bike ride to the event: The race time was changed from 5 pm to 6 pm. From bad to terrific

Winter got to me yesterday. My mood was foul.  It also seemed like the longest day in history.  However, some things did get accomplished. 1. I made the Spinach Artichoke Dip Bread using the left over dip from CEimB Thursday night dinner.
