Happy Monday All!  It was SO difficult getting motivated to work out today. Seems to be the case on a Monday.  I ended up completing an excellent workout as follows:

6.5 mile Run.  Part on the treadmill and part outside with Shane. So it was broken up with 35 min. chest & biceps. in between.  The details are:

  • 45 min. run on T/Mill. 5 miles.
  • Chest & Biceps: Used cable machine for chest today, heavier weight settings 4 sets x 12 reps each. of both chest and biceps.  1. Chest press then hammer curls. 2. Pec cross overs then concentration curls. 3. Flys then curl bar curls. 4. Incline Bench Press and cable curls.
  • 35 min. walk – jog with Shane.  I did about a mile and 1/2 jogging, the rest fast walking for 2.85 miles. 

So here is the TAKE NOTE part of the blog:  Circuit City has declared bankruptcy.  A company that has declared bankruptcy does not have to accept GIFT CARDS!  So beware for if you give gift cards for the holidays.

Whats on the menu for a Mon. AM breakfast? prework out Jay Robb shake.  post work out 1 VPX scoop with water & ice + 1/4 banana + 2.5 oz raspberries.  Cream of rice with 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice + 1/4 of banana + 2 raspberries + 1 tsp Naturally More peanut butter.

For this mornings 10 to 10:30 snack, I’m having a jumbo Crispin apple with about 1 1/2 TBS mixed nut butters:
