That Which Drives Us and Gluten Free Pizza Crust

On days like today when the snow left from plows form moguls in the roads and the wind is blowing me backwards, when every step forward feels like tremendous effort, I wonder why I’m still running.  I’m no elite athlete.  This isn’t my job.  Is this REALLY what I have to do to stay in shape?!  When the effort is extreme, I do wonder why I continue to make myself suffer.  The only answer I can come up with is the challenge to be better. Easy Does It on a Weeknight- That Incredible Edible Egg

I thought this week should be taper week but it doesn’t seem like taper week. I’m tired, I’m cranky, I’m absolutely desperate to sleep in.  But no, not until November 3rd, the day after the New York City Marathon or rather the TCSNYC Marathon.  When I run with Zoey in the morning, I’ve been getting so frustrated with her constant pulling. Skillet Cod with Orange Zest

This past weekend Ted and I went on a mattress hunting expedition.  It was unsuccessful.  We went to Sleep Number Bed and left in complete shock.  $6,000 for a mattress?!  Not for us.   We also went to our cell phone provided since we received an offer on the new iPhone good thru 9/30/2014.  Turned out that deal didn’t apply to us.  Hmm!???!  …and WHY did they send it to us in the first place?!  Another disappointment. So we ended up at a local football game:  Utica College vs. Brockport.   We stayed for most of the 2nd half with UC ahead.  [...]

Carrot Currant Quinoa
