Can’t Stop Having a Plan and How Fast They Grow

Even though my next marathon is MONTHS away, I had to have a plan.  Here it is:  Philadelphia Training Plan.  Yes, I’ve already begun but that’s only because I have a few races planned over the summer and wanted to get some kind of idea of how to prepare.  The plan is flexible and I’ve already changed it due to Ted’s upcoming events. Easy Does It

When you’re excited about a new endeavor, do you just want to plow forward to get to the end result?  Forget about all that middle of the way stuff?  I’m that way.  I want to take advantage of all that excited energy just in case I lose it.   Saturday I ran 7.3 miles and wasn't tired or sore.  I just can't imagine myself not being able to run 15 miles, for example.  Ted tells me I'm crazy.  He says  "It doesn't work that way, Joanne.
