Protein Pancake

A big breakfast

Since I'm going to make every effort to go to the Run for Safety tonight, I opted for the ET this morning. 40 minutes worth.  40 minutes working back and triceps. 33 minute jog with Shane.  To get a good head start on the day, pre workout was the standard VPX shake and breakfast was a LARGE protein pancake meal, as follows: 3/4 scoop VPX Whey Vanilla Protein 1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain Cereal with Flax 1 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 cup Egg beaters   .....mix all the above together and let sit about 20 minutes 1 large [...]

On a calm day

It was nice out this morning. Not temp. wise, that was a cool 23 degrees, but it wasn't windy and it was nice and clear.  I expect that's the last we'll see of calm & clear for the next few days. We are in for some heavy snow. Last nights movie wasn't bad. A little sad but funny in parts. Happy Hump Day

Up and about at the normal early hour. Started with a VPX shake. Ran for 26 minutes and ET'd for 10.  Ever notice that sometimes it takes a good 20 minutes before you find your running rhythm?  During that time you're thinking, "should I stop now? ... what hurts so I can justify stopping???".. But then something "turns on" and you continue and it gets easy.  Go figure?!!!!  After the aerobics, went into a good back and tricep work out. Ended with a 36 minute jog with Shane.   Back & Tri W/O: 4 x 15 V Bar Pull down. Superset w/ 4 [...]
