It was one of those mornings. I had a 10 mile run on tap with 6 miles being key marathon pace miles. When the alarm went off, I listened for rain outside. Hunger Day and Bok Choy-Radicchio …Baked

It was one of those days when my stomach constantly felt empty.  I had my usual fruit with oatmeal.  Nibbled at a PR Bar, making it last until lunch time.  At lunch I made a salad fit for a table of four which wasn’t just greenery but a 4 oz. salmon fillet and half a baked sweet potato.  An hour later, my mouth was busy again with more snacking, healthy and not so healthy (think CARAMELS!).  I finally declared “ENOUGH!” Maybe it had something to do with the miles run and strength training? No Pressure Run and Lea & Perrins Roasted Vegetables

I’m really enjoying this recovery stage.  No pressure running.  My weekly totals for the month have been 16.5, 36.17 (not sure how that one happened???), and so far this week, I’m just under 14.  Today was my first speed workout of the month.  Interval miles for 4 1/2 .  I’m not sure I’ll have the energy for longer running tomorrow but I’m going to try since I’ve completed all weight workouts for the week.  Course I could ONE: Take a day off or TWO: Do another leg workout with weights.  I’ll check all body parts and enthusiasm at 4am tomorrow [...]
