Weddings, Graduations, and CNYEats Chocolate Candy

What better way to spend a weekend when it kicks off with a Friday night wedding, continues on Saturday with a family graduation and wraps it up with delicious chocolate-on- chocolate candy? No better way in my mind. Congratulations to Eileen and David. A beautiful wedding.  A stunning bride. Lots of fun. Did I mention funky dancing Fun, fun, fun David’s Graduation And MORE FUN!  Super good food, fun times with family, another festive event. Owasco Man Sprint Triathlon

What a day! This is a long vacation weekend right? We relax, kick back with friends, celebrate the Fourth of July…the last two might apply but relax?  No way. Not us. Saturday:  Long run of the week,  14 miles.  I took Shane for 5 1/4 then continued on down the Boilermaker course and back, zig-zagging to get in 14 miles. Not one iota more! Mondays Routine and Weekend Parties

Monday starts the work week and working out week. Checking the legs….”are you ready?”  Legs respond:  “NO!”  The brain never listens to the legs anyway.  Interval work: 2 mile warm up.  3 minutes hard running and 3 minutes easy (I mostly walked in between. not much energy this morning) x 8 sets. Weights:  Chest and shoulders for 35 minutes.  *Legs were worked late Sunday afternoon.
