mother’s day cake

Happy Mother’s Day all you Mom’s out there.  And even though my mother prefers to stay miles away from any computer so she will never see this…Happy Mother’s Day, Mum!  A chocolate cake with a vanilla wash. The first layer of filling is cannoli cream.  The second layer of filling is chocolate mouse topped with apricot glazed raspberries.  The third layer of filling is the cannoli cream repeated. Frosted in buttercream with dark chocolate accents.  Blue sugar roses.  The side is an “edible image” blue paisley.  I’m not a mom but I can appreciate the special day.  On second thought, [...]
