A pretty good week in the Boston Training plan considering the weather has been awful for running outside.   I’m on track for 55 miles by Saturday with only one speed work left.  It’s going to be bitterly cold which is why I left that workout for the treadmill in the warmth of our basement.  50.5 miles and 4.5  to go. CEimB: Tomato Clam Soup

This week, the Ellie group cooked up heart warming soup.  I didn’t have the tortillas since shopping was put on the back burner due to a late return from our marathon weekend. Instead of making Tomato-Tortilla Soup, I made Tomato Clam Soup.  The recipe was customized with what we did have on hand and the result was once again, a rewarding meal.   Thanks to Mary of Popsicles and Sandy Feet for the pick. A Fall Garden Split Pea Soup

What a great recipe!…as she pats herself on the back.  I can’t take 100% of the credit just about 50%   (oh so smug!). I was in the pantry today doing a check before going to the grocery store.  I saw 1/2 a bag each of yellow and green split peas. Eureka!  There’s dinner.  Split Pea Soup.
