Place in a double boiler:  1/4 lb mini marshmallows, 6 TBS powdered sugar and 1 1/2 cups heavy or lite cream. Remove from heat once the marshmallows are melted and add:  1 large banana *I USED CHOPPED PEACHES, 1 small bottle of cherries – cut up *I USED OREGON CANNED CHERRIES In heavy syrup but drained, 1 TBS melted mint chocolate, 1 TBS chopped almonds. CNYEats A Taste of Utica Gelati Florentine Clone

This week’s recipe is…. ICE CREAM!  Ok, so “Gelati” (better known as Gelato) if you want to be all formal about it.  What’s the difference?  According to THIS SOURCE, ice cream is made with a minimum of 10 percent fat, while gelato is made with a greater proportion of whole milk to cream, so it contains five to seven percent fat.
