Run or Not to Run and Bouchon TKOs

Do what I say not what I do… right?!   Why is it that most of us are just not that good at coaching ourselves?  Could it be that we under estimate our aches and pains? Something’s Up with The Foot and Grilled Frittata

It doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t get worse when I run.  Sometimes it aches a little then goes away.  I bet most people wouldn’t even notice, it’s that subtle.  Since I’m pushing the limits lately running one race after another, I’m a bit paranoid that something is going to give. After Run, Hoppin’ John & Voss’ Old Time Charm

Does anyone else have trouble working up an appetite after a long run?  All day Wednesday, I put food in my mouth that my stomach just didn’t want.  I wasn’t hungry but knew that recovery nutrition was a must.  It’s really unusual for me not to want to eat.
