Broken Wrist Phase 2 and Farro Salad with Citrus-Honey Vinaigrette

I call this Phase 2 of the broken wrist saga because now the cast is off, pin and stitches removed after 3 weeks.  Guess I was expecting to have almost normal wrist function but that is far from the case.  There is no flexibility nor strength. Energized and Spinach Salad from VegNews

Why so much energy? I think it was being around all those runners last Saturday at the Falling Leaves Expo. Sunday gave me the opportunity to burn some of the running fever out of me, but it’s still holding on and I’m ready to go this week. Love Them Apples

Latest and greatest health news:  Consuming apples and apple products might improve brain health and help diminish symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.  Nine published studies reaffirm this news.  Apple juice helps reduce oxidation effects and helps to maintain healthy cognitive brain function.  I love apples.   I'm not quite sure they've helped my brain function though.  Some would tell you otherwise.    The summary of the workouts this week, so far. Vitamin B12

Another healthy tip came my way this morning. This one was from RealAge and was focused on the benefits of Vitamin B12 and the brain.  This vitamin, among other things, helps prevent brain atrophy. Brain shrinkage can lead to Alzheimer's.  We all think we're way too young to be concerned about that, but not if you don't live a healthy life style and eat right.
