What a day.  A PR for Ted.  A great race on a gorgeous Central New York day. The Delta Lake Triathlon of 2010 triggered Ted’s interest in the sport.  We were on the road by 6 am and arrived at the park by 6:45 am to set up. There were over 300 athletes in this event.  The 2nd running of the Delta Lake Triathlon.  The beautiful weather and the success of 2010 enticed seasoned as well as the newbie triathlete to race this year. Delta Lake Half Marathon

Pre Race: There was so much to think about unrelated to running the days before this half marathon.  It wasn’t until Saturday night that it began to hit me, I had a race to run.  The clothes were set on the bathroom floor (because that’s where I put my workout clothes for the following day). Lake Delta Triathlon and Favorite Oatmeal Cookies

Delta Lake Inn: A Fine Restaurant Experience
