FOFF Cheese Cookies

Carla Vavala’s recipe on page 19 of her book Fusion of Food and Friends is called “Spritz Cheese Cookies”.  I was going to shape the cookies into delightful little spritzes but the dough was too thick for me to squeeze through the form.  I settled for small round cookies and also made a few “worms”.  The baked result has a cheesy light flavor, like a cracker but with a cookie texture.  You’ll be surprised at how popular these snacks will be for kids and adults.
