It’s That Time

It’s that time in training when self doubt starts.  I begin to doubt my training. I review the miles I’ve run in the last four months, how many long runs over 17, how much speed work, training pace times, and begin to wonder whether I’ve done enough. I look at my past training plans for the first marathon, then the second marathon. Negative thoughts come to mind: I haven’t run as many miles. I haven’t run as fast.
