Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Blueberry Lemon Muffins

Hero’s of the Mill were given something very special this week.  The newest gluten free creation from Bob’s Red Mill Milwaukie, Oregon “Gluten Free Muffin Mix”. A delicate blend of fine rice and sorghum flours with a combination of starches, lightly flavored with vanilla to produce such a light, fluffy mouth watering muffin.  I added 1 cup of frozen blueberries with 2 teaspoons of fresh lemon zest.  These will not last long. Summer Sizzler 5 Miler and CNYEats A Taste of Utica Blueberry Muffins

These guys are keeping me entertained. Everyday they do something that gets me giggling. Look what they bought Ted for Father’s Day: Shane sent his “pennies” my way and I helped him order a 6 bottle bucket of international beer plus nuts, crackers and sausage.  A MAN’S bucket of goodies.  Love Shane and Zoey. A Little Girl! Natural Sweeteners and Oatmeal Wild Blueberry Muffins

Welcome the newest member of the family:  Alyssa Cari.  Born at 8:04 am Friday morning.  Angela and Steve are very proud parents of this adorable, perfect little girl.   8 lbs 8 oz.  of pure joy! Three Berry Muffins

After sticking to the running/workout schedule plan for this week, I deserve a muffin!  30 minutes of running while we were vacationing. 2 hours spent snow boarding which counts as cross training on Tuesday.  Wednesday was a 45 minute run upon returning home. That was a tough one since my legs weren't really with me.  Thursday morning was 35 minutes of cross training (ET), 30 minutes total body weights, and a 3.17 mile run with Shane.  The weekend plan is a 10 K race.
