Original Recipe for Biscotti

Well, ALMOST the original recipe with the exception of using walnuts instead of almonds.  The method is the same and so is the base ingredient: simply flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs and extracts.  The recipe and information was taken from the “FOOD” section of the Observer Dispatch, Friday April 3, 2015. Chocolate With Francois Chocolate Nut Biscotti

Are you a dunker?  If you’re a dunker you have to love biscotti.  It’s the perfect crisp cookie to enjoy dipped dunked in tea or coffee.  This month’s Francois Payard’s recipe, Chocolate with Francois, was all about crisp, nutty, chocolate biscotti.  Essence of anise in a chocolate nut, twice baked cookie. It just might be over and Biscotti Utica Style

After 14 days, I THINK I just might be over the flu/whooping cough.  In all my days, I cannot remember being sick for so long. Maybe it’s because I’m just a TAD older (just a tad now, don’t go adding 5 or 6 years!) or could it be I was waking up too early, going to bed to late and working out too much, resulting in a weak immune system?  Not sure but I do like to analyze the situation to death.  Can’t say it would stop me from over taxing my system again in the future but it’s something [...]
