In my earlier post which documented my workout plans for the week, I listed a 12 mile run and the Duathlon for Saturday.  Ted and I would have been standing at the starting point all alone if we tried to enter the event next Saturday.  It’s on Sunday and that’s so much better because I was beginning to wonder how I would run 12 miles, ski 4 miles, then run another 3.1.  It would have been an interesting attempt at increasing my stamina.  Today's workout was good.  45 min. Banana Mini Donuts

Fitness first.  Today's workout was energized.  It must have been the extra carbohydrates ingested from all the Super Bowl food.  The plan was a 30 min. run + 30 min. weights + 30 -40 min. walk.  The result was a 4 mile run (36 min). 35 minutes of weights, chest and biceps and 49 minutes of walking (a jog here and there) with Shane (3.38 miles).  It felt good AND it's a Monday.  Then Monday happened.
