CEimB: Aromatic Beef Stew with Butternut Squash

Just a motivational quote to share…   It is wonderful that life continues to challenge and define us, great that there is always more to strive for and assuring that we will always grow from these experiences so the future will be better still. – Deena Kastor This week, Kayte of Grandma’s Kitchen Table chose the recipe. It was beefy and not a dish for me. I was going to make it vegetarian by using beans in place of beef and vegetable broth in place of beef broth but Ted likes beef stew so I stuck to the recipe and [...]

CNYEats A Taste of Utica Grilled Steak

CEimB Taco Salad with Chunky Tomato Dressing

This week the Ellie group made a chili spiced salad with a deliciously fresh and tangy chunky tomato dressing. The pick was made by Peggy of Pantry Revisited.  Peggy has a great blog.  What I enjoy so much about Peggy is that we tend to think alike in our blogging enjoyments as well as annoyances.  It’s great to have good internet friends. Thumbs up Peggy! Back to the recipe….what a flavorful meal and so easy to put together.  We had this dinner on Sunday when all I had on my mind was pizza and no fooling around in the kitchen.  [...]
