Peanut Butter-Strawberry Kissed Cupcakes

After Ted’s last Triathlon for 2014, we celebrated with some delicious “kissed” cupcakes. But first, the endurance event put on by ATCEndurance.  Start time was 7:50 am for a 800 meter swim, cut down from 1000 meters, not sure why.     Good swim with a few kicks here and there.  It seems with the reconfigured course, swimmers were getting in the way of each other more than usual. Treads and Threads Duathlon

The 2nd successful year for the late April Treads and Threads Duathlon, a run bike run organized by ATCEndurance.  5K run over a flat course, a 20 mile bike over a hilly, challenging course, finishing up by doing the same 5K route that began the race.  The turn out was good for a cold, windy April day. Old Forge Triathlon 2013

Can you believe two weekends in a row?  Ted is at it again: swimming, biking, and running.  This was the last event of the ATCendurance 2013 races.  How sad and how unbelievable that we are already nearing the end of summer.  The Old Forge Triathlon is one of my favorites to spectate.  It’s a fun and interesting place to walk around while waiting for your athlete.  If you’re there to watch multiple athletes, you can see them coming and going from all angles.  The Race Ted was set up and ready to go by 7:30 am.  One last trip to [...]
