Equal Miles, Shorter Distance and A Nutrition Packed Shake

Does it seem that some routes you take while running seem shorter than other routes even though they are the same distance? The other morning, Shane and I ran a few miles out, turned around and ran the same route back. It wasn't too far from home, basically half a horse shoe from our house.
