Ever heard of National Can It Forward Day? It was a new one on me as well until I was sent a complete canning kit.
So many good things in the kit!
I couldn’t believe all the recipes offered in the book. The following recipe is one on my A list. We absolutely love bananas and strawberries.

Do you preserve a lot of foods?
What’s your favorite fresh produce to can?
Oh! I have always wanted to try it but have NEVER done it. I know it’s a matter of education. I even have a garden. Maybe this year I’ll do a small batch of something. Thanks for sharing.
It would be totally predictable and ridiculously boring if I said my favorite thing to can was peaches right?
Actually, we’ve only ever canned peaches once. We’ve done many batches of strawberry and raspberry preserves though. I think my favorite is my mother’s strawberry freezer jam – that stuff is amazing!
Wow! I’ve never tried canning but I can remember my granny’s tasty jams, I wish I could have make my own… this kit looks pretty cool, I think I should give it a try!
