TRICK OR TREAT – ARE YOU READY?
Need something in a hurry to take to a Halloween party?
Maybe your hosting a party and want to put out some sweet little finger food dessert delights. Try these, quick, easy, decadent delights.
Mini Fillo Cannoli Creams
This recipe will make 60 cups
- 4 packages (15 cups in each package) Mini Flaky Pastry Shells
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 1 TBS vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 oz mini chocolate chips
- chocolate syrup (make your own or buy it)
- Halloween candy for decoration
Preheat the oven to 350F and place the fillo cups on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove and cool.
To make the cannoli, mix the vanilla and sugar with the ricotta. Stir in gently, the mini chips.
Fill each cooled cup with cannoli cream, top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and garnish with a Halloween candy.
It doesn’t get any easier and your friends will LEEEOOOVVVEE you.
Do you get a lot of trick or treaters in your neighborhood? We don’t get many but I buy candy any way. I guess it’s an excuse for me to eat it afterwards.

Love the little halloween desserts! I’ve seen some people use the mini pastry shells and fill with a fluffy pumpkin batter and whipped cream for a bite-sized pumpkin pie.
I live in an apartment complex and I’ve never gotten any trick-or-treaters. Last year I really wanted to hand out candy so I bought a few bags and went over to my boyfriend’s house to give out candy there. 🙂
I love those mini pastry shells and really haven’t used them. Great idea for Halloween.
