A good for you but delicious salad… Chickpeas!
The wholesome nourishment in a typical serving of chickpeas:
1/4 cup = 182 calories and only 3 grams of fat. Carbohydrates 30 grams and protein 10 grams.
I added tuna and tiny shrimp
but you can certainly leave those out or, if you want more protein but don’t like the idea of fish, add cooked chicken (chopped).
UPDATE: I had to remove the recipe. Apparently the folks who gave me the recipe didn’t want it posted on individual blog sites. Strange marketing concept, don’t you think? Oh well..tie your own noose.
