It was still very cold in Pawleys Island but not as cold as Utica, NY.

I was up at 6:15 am and out the door with Shane.  We had to run in order to keep warm. We ran all around the plantation (again), going in and out of all the Cul-de-Sacs within Heritage.  Total miles:  6.10.  Good news:  The drippy nose yesterday WAS just a dust ball. 100% good health today. Yay!

A warm bath, a big Egg Beater omelet breakfast cured any lasting chill.

Ted and I loaded Shane into the car and went for a ride. First stop was the school to play some Frisbee:

We took a ride to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach

It was almost deserted due to the very cold weather and the wind.

While Ted was buying a new pair of jeans, I was temped to buy a new belly ring but decided this would probably get a bit annoying with all the clothes I have to wear in the winter.

We met a few friends that were very intrigued by Ted’s feet…

There were other feathered friends that made us a bit nervous flying over head (you know what could happen with birds over head ).

Shane was in the car the whole time since it was so cool it didn’t bother him.  When we got back to the car, he was in the drivers seat but…well,…. he is a guy and guys like all the controls.

We left Broadway for a sports bar to catch some of the games.  We landed at

Not a classy place but SO many TV’s.  There was every game that was being broadcast on a TV somewhere in the bar.

DSCN2404 We were happy to be in a chilly SC in comparison to what was happening in New York.  This is the Buffalo game:

DSCN2406 Looks like an ice hockey rink, doesn’t it?!!!

While watching the games we enjoyed a Becks beer, a glass of Chardonnay, a tossed salad, chicken caesar wrap and blackened grouper bites.  Then it was off to get home and plan a route to avoid the big cities for home tomorrow.  How sad

We’re all tired after a long day.  We packed the car and ate a quick meal of grilled tuna and steamed broccoli.

Now we rest and enjoy the last night in South Carolina before we return in another few months.
