Rain is good.  That’s what I was telling myself as I toweled Shane off outside and hung my dripping wet clothes in the laundry room…for the second time in 4 days.

My rainy day sneakers worked better today because I didn’t go wading through the deep puddles.

I stayed on the sidewalks, avoiding holes, and didn’t cross any wet fields or lawns.   We jogged 3.4 miles today.

The weight workout was good.  It was back and triceps day preceded by 35 minutes on the Elliptical.

I was hungry this morning and couldn’t wait to get into that fresh pineapple which was sliced last night.  I used 1/2 of the pineapple to accompany grilled pork chops for Ted and oven baked Tofu for me.  The remaining half of that pineapple eagerly awaits consumption.

Healthy eats:

Hot cereal is a mixture of Cream of Rye and Bob’s Red Mill 10 Grain Cereal.  I added 1 tsp craisins, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp of powdered peanut butter, vanilla flavor.

A great way to start the day!

Work is busy and I have an appointment at 10:30 today so that puts me out of the office for a few hours.  I always feel so rushed when I get back in the afternoon after missing time in the morning.  I like to be ahead of the game.

It’s time to hit the road and hopefully not get too wet getting from point to point.  Umbrella anyone?

Joanne
