Eversource Hartford Marathon 2016 Recap

The Hartford Connecticut marathon was my goal race for the fall. I began with a warm up marathon in Marquette MI and logged a pretty good time. Not one of my best but better than my last few marathons. My goal has been to simply overcome the mental hurdles that life has thrown my way in the last year and a half and hope for at least a time of 3:50 in Hartford. Marquette Marathon Michigan 2016

It seems the week of a marathon I get completely miserable, depressed, and anything to worry about I will worry about, not even marathon related.  If I want to continue running these 26.2’s, this has to stop! Boilermaker 15K 2016 Recap

Do you realize how much stress can affect running performance?   Well let me tell you!   It seems the older I get, the more outside stress (independent of running and racing) affects my mental attitude and running capability.  Age?
