Avocado Dressed Salad and Marathon Thoughts

It’s those days when I’m in the kitchen just chopping away that the best recipes are created.  On this particular day, I had an avocado to use.  That was the beginning of the following creation. Avocado Dressed Salad I didn’t write down the amount of anything used. 2016 Race Schedule

Another year, more challenges. Let's hope health issues are behind us and the only worries are race times. Although, why worry about race time?  It's all about being grateful that we can get outside everyday and enjoy daily exercise. "The chance to know yourself in weakness and strength, and to persevere.  ... to confront your own lions, and be your own hero." What's on tap for this year?  So far, this is what I have scheduled. Marine Corp Marathon October 25 2015

A week before this race, I saved one of “Gibson’s Daily Running Quotes” specifically for this marathon. This quote was perfect for me, a slap in the head much needed, after this race. First, Pre-Race Day Business Wear Blue To Remember.
