Where do you work out?

We decided it was more economical for us to utilize some “dead” space in the finished basement of our house. Ted and I finished our fitness room in the summer of 2008.

We have a treadmill, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, universal gym as well as free weights and our other favorite machines.  It works out great since we get up so early (4AM).  I enjoy between 30 to 45 min. of warm up aerobics, then at least 30 min. for a weight routine, and 30 to 40 minutes finishing up by walking, jogging, or running with Shane.  As for Ted, well, he needs at least 15 minutes on the E.T. before he can open his eyes.  I honestly don’t know how he manages to get down 2 flights of stairs without going head over tea kettle!

The room before the gym is my Yoga Sanctum.  I have pictures, statues, books, DVD’s and a vertical bench which I love to use everyday after my weight training.

Love your work out room. That is our goal. What is your total square footage? and which equipement brand did you use? Love stumbling across your website!
