Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Why not dedicate deliciously decadent brownies to your honey?
A recipe dedicated to all you Nutella fans, Claudia…you’re first my list. *By the way, click on the link and discover another mouth watering Nutella Brownie recipe from Claudia.
I’m almost 100% sure you’ve used Nutella to make brownies before but just in case you haven’t seen this recipe, it’s right here, ready to knock your nutty socks off.
Makes 1 8 x 8 pan, cut as large or small as you like. *Be forewarned! These are good so double up now before everyone else eats them while you’re cleaning up.
- 1/2 cup Hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
- 3 TBS semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 stick (8 TBS) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 TBS all purpose flour (yes, that’s all!)
- 1/2 cup chopped Macadamia nuts or you can use hazelnuts or another nut
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 TBS confectioners sugar to finish when cooled
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non stick baking spray.
Melt the hazelnut spread with the semi sweet chocolate and butter until combined. *If using the microwave, put on for 30 second increments and stir, continue until all is melted.
In a bowl, whisk the sugar and the eggs. Pour the chocolate mixture into the bowl and mix thoroughly with the eggs and sugar.
Fold in the flour. Stir in the nuts and salt.
Bake for 30 – 40 minutes until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
Cool for 10 minutes then sprinkle with confectioners sugar, cut into squares and prepare your mouth for pure heaven.

It most certainly would. You’ll get that hazelnut flavor through the Nutella or other Hazelnut-Chocolate spread.
I’m dying – there’s nothing like a chocolatey brownie. I love how little flour this recipe uses too! Can’t wait to try these!!
I would eat this all day every day if I could 😀
Cheers

I don’t make brownie often but I’m crazy about Nutella. The crunch from the macadamia nuts must be wonderful in these brownie. Can’t wait to give these a try.
All it takes is one glance at these and I have a terrible urge to dive into a vat of chocolate! Your brownies look perfect, with my ideal balance between fudgy interior and crispy, crackled top. Macadamia nuts really seal the deal- those nuts are my ultimate guilty pleasure due to their expense. Good thing I stocked up while in Hawaii where they were locally produced…
