Dancing With Myself

by Joanne on April 5, 2012

I couldn’t help it.  I was thinking about running Boston again and got so excited. Then this song came on the radio.

Dancing With Myself

I found a back road, got out of the car and started dancing.  I had so much energy and was feeling so good…

I thought I’d share my excess energy with you ….then a car came over the hill behind me.

Yikes!

The guy in the car stopped, leaned over and said “You OK?!”

Darn it! I got caught.  Seriously?! At my age, it’s REALLY not a good thing to get caught dancing by yourself in the road.  Too many questions….

Oh well.  I’m feeling good.  I’m excited about running Boston again. Good things can happen so for now, I’m dancing with myself  Open-mouthed smile

So go ahead…tell me when you last got caught doing something silly.

LOL! I say go for it and dance whenever you want to!

I dance in the grocery store sometimes and get caught. It doesn’t embarrass me much, but it does embarrass John! (which makes it all the more fun).

The grocery store is a great place! I’d like to be the one catching you. :)

Right now, I’m excite. As the day approaches, the intense nervousness will kick in. AND… you deserve the wishes. That is one terrific recipe.

Great to know you’re a full power for the race coming! Doing some not “standard” is good, unless it’s become a routine lol!

Couldn’t see the video – not available in my region :(

Cheers,

Gera

Thanks Gera. You’re right. You do too many out of the ordinary things and they call in the specialists. ;)

I LOVE it! There’s always room to be silly, even out our age! And I like your chosen song, too.

Something about Billy Idol. He always brings it out in me.

Ah, I LOVE THIS! What fun! We all do have to age, but never get old. Good for you, girlfriend!
You’ve just made me remember wayyy back, a bunch of us kinda rocked/slam danced to this at my first wedding! Billy Idol was all the rage back then. :)

Anytime now you experience a little trepidation about the race, think back to this and you’ll be smiling again! xo

LoL:) By the way, this song makes me always singing and dancing, too! And you shouldn’t care about the people who are watching you dancing on your own, they mustn’t be as happy as you are!
