What a great mini vacation in Florida.  The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the company of family for three days.

Fabulous food.

Fun night life.

We were able to exercise every morning.  The hotel had a fabulous gym and the area was made for running.  I was on my favorite brand of treadmill (PreCor) every morning.

When we were done in the gym, we went outside for some heated workouts.  Ted has started running again.  He’s not too enthusiastic and we took it slow, coupling running with walking for a total of 4.8 miles.   I was able to run over 8 miles Friday and close to 10 Saturday.  That gave me an excuse to eat the FAB food.

The weather was all that you expect Florida weather to be.

That would be me trying my best at being a sun worshipper for 2 minutes.

After a lot of walking around, swimming, and spending time with the extended family poolside, everyone (over 40 of us) were invited to the rehearsal dinner.

I don’t remember snapping the following shot of the bride-to-be (Pam) and her dad (my hubbly-bubbly) before rehearsal.  Too much sun or too much wine?  One or the other caused memory loss.

During dinner, Ted tried to catch Nicholas and I swinging our hips and shaking our heads to the music.

The big day: Pam and Heman’s Wedding

We had a blast.

Pam and Heman are off to Hawaii for a fantastic honeymoon filled with fun.

Ted and I are back in New York busier than ever with work.  Some fun things now have to be put on hold since October forced a backlog in both of our important commitments.

We did have a great time in Delray.  Something about the beach, warm weather, and a glorious wedding brings out the romance in all of us.
